iPhone Friday

I thought I'd share my week in iPhone photos!

Pretty pink flowers! Because every girl needs pink flowers in her life. They make me happy!

My favorite breakfast lately! An Ezekiel cinnamon raisin english muffin with peanut butter and banana. And coffee. Duh.

My new happy! I've been spending so much time walking and jogging at the park! I've also decided to dance while doing those things. I get genuine smiles from people who see it, but I dance even when they don't, because it's fun and why not?

They're Watching Me

This morning while I was in the shower dancing, business as usual, I noticed I was being watched.

By my shower curtain.

WAIT. Wait. Hang in there with me - I promise I am not crazy. Perhaps a little...

Let me just show you.

Do you see it? Let me help.

See where I'm pointing? Imagine that's a pair of eyes, and a super long tongue coming out of it's mouth.

NOW do you see? Perhaps not. Maybe this is like picking out shapes in clouds, where we all learn a little about how weird people are based on what they see.

Either way, I now feel like I'm showering with a weird audience. I should work on my dancing skills.

Party Like It's 1999!

This weekend I partied like it was 1999. In '99 I was a sophomore in high school, so by partied I mean that I had a sleepover at a girlfriends house. That's not nearly as exciting as you anticipated, right? I even got a little excited myself, and then I remembered that I'm generally pretty boring. And also not 22.

Moving right along.

I'm pretty fortunate to have an awesome job, and part of what makes my job so awesome is that I work with the best people ever. Seriously. My coworkers are way more cool than yours. Two of my very best friends, Miranda and Emily, I met at work. I still work with Miranda, but Emily moved away about a year ago, and she was in visiting this weekend.

We met in downtown Nashville, and went to an awesome burger joint, where copious amounts of beef, cheese, and potatoes in the form of tater tots, fries, and chips were consumed. Oh, and beer. Duh.

Then we headed back to Miranda's house, and sat up talking and drinking margaritas for hours. Girlfriends make everything better. As do sleepovers.

Ems and I ended up grabbing lunch close by this afternoon, and then she had to head back. I was planning on swinging by Whole Foods before I got home, except my realtor called and said someone wanted to see my house today. So instead, I came back and did the obligatory house prep - light scented candles, turn on some soft music, pick up random cat toys all over the house, etc.

I haven't gotten any feedback yet, but I'm hoping to hear how it went on Monday. Hopefully, the house will sell sooner than later!

And now friends, now I have a date with When Harry Met Sally, and my favorite four legged feline. Oh, what an exciting evening awaits!
